CoWare, ACE and Europractice Expand Collaboration to Deliver Processor Designer C-Compiler Designer to European Universities and Research Institutes

Access to Processor Designer and Processor Designer C Compiler Designer Accelerates the Availability of Trained Resources and Research on Future Architectures

CoWare®Inc., the leading supplier of electronic virtualization software and services, ACE Associated Compiler Experts, developers of the leading professional compiler development tool system CoSy, and Europractice today announced they have expanded the distribution through Europractice of the CoWare Processor Designer offering to include the Processor Designer C-Compiler option, which is based on the CoSy Express technology from ACE, for European universities and research institutes. As processors, such as ASIPs and programmable hardware accelerators, are becoming a permanent fixture in electronic design, the expanded ability for Europractice to distribute the Processor Designer C-Compiler option will enable the industry to rely on a workforce knowledgeable about the tools and methodologies available for ASIP design. In addition, it will enable research centers to quickly evaluate future processor architectures.
