ACE Associated Compiler Experts bv are an innovative team with 30+ year experience in delivering leading edge results in the field of system software and compiler technology. Conveniently located next to the Amsterdam Central Station and overlooking the river IJ, 30+ ACE employees work in a relaxed and independent atmosphere on advanced system software for the international computer and embedded systems industries. Our customers range from large semiconductor companies to small IP startups. They use the CoSy compiler development system to develop state-of-the-art C/C++/Embedded C/Fortran compilers for their own, special embedded processing platforms, and/or they use the SuperTest suite to test and validate them.

We are looking for: several Software Development Engineers (male/female) to help us take our CoSy to new and exciting levels. Your sense of quality will enable the success of our customers’ next-generation advanced embedded systems. Because CoSy is a compiler generator system for a broad range of processor architectures, your ingenuity is essential for implementing analysis and optimization techniques in a generalized, universal manner. Job description:

• Design and development of CoSy:
• Heterogeneous multicore compilation
• Reconfigurable architecture support
• Advanced optimization techniques
• Testing & validation
• Participate in handling CoSy customer support
• Liaison with the CoSy research network
• Provide technical assistance at international conferences and tradeshows
• These are full time positions
• Work location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Requirements:

• Experience and inherent interest in compiler construction technologies
• CoSy experience would be a plus
• Experience in C/C++ programming with profound software implementation skills
• Strong work ethic; pride in the quality of work
• Innovative, creative out-of-the-box thinker who enjoys solving complex problems
• Able to write and capture software requirements and design specifications
• Able to provide ongoing bug fixing and maintenance throughout the product life cycle
• Hands-on, result-driven attitude
• Able to write technical documentation
• Good English language skills
